My name is Anna Stec. I am 15 years old and I am in 10th grade in Murry Bergtraum High School. I am taking ESL 8T. It is a very hard class, but if you work hard probably you would get good grades. I am saying this because if I work hard I get good grades, and that is what made me feel very proud of myself. Anyway, Ms. Huck is my ESL teacher, who works hard and is very respectful for all of us. She taught me a lot of things that I didn't know. She's just an incredible teacher. She does whatever it takes to teach us something. This is my beginning of this class and we are just starting to use computers. However, I know that already because my teacher, Ms.Huck, taught me that last semester. I am just proud to be back in this class because I enjoy being in her class. I think that it is fun because of all the things that we are doing on the computer.

When I had Ms.Huck last semester, we did a lot of things that were very valuable to me. We read a bunch of stories and poems. We did a lot of writing, and especially we had written a lot of essays. However, I learned how to use computer and how to contact with other people on the Internet. You can meet and get to know a lot of new friends all around the world by using the Internet. We had key-pals from Sweden and it was really fun talking to them. I have a very good friend now from Sweden because I like to talk with him. He is so funny and nice. I also learned how to use "yahoo," that was our first thing that we did. We even made web-pages. For example, we made the holidays web- page. We also had a visitor from Sweden. Her name was Petra, and she is from Sweden. It was just incredible meeting someone on the Internet who lives far away from you, and then just came and visited you like a friend that you knew for a long time. Anyway, I think that I'm learning the most important things that will be useful when I will get my own Internet.

This is what I learned in Ms. Huck's class last semester and so I have her again and I am very proud that I am in her class because I really enjoy being in her class. I love the way Ms. Huck is teaching. I know that it is hard, but I understand that she is just trying to teach us that is why she has to give us a lot of things to do. Nothing is easy in our lives and if you want to have something you really have to earn that. It is just like working and earning money. However, I know that I am not the smartest, but I try my best and I really would like to be a very nice and good student this semester. I want to be proud of myself and so I want my parents to be proud of me that I do good in school. I will try to do good so the teacher can be proud of me too. I don't want to let my favorite teacher down because I know that I can do good if I want.
